Boxing fans are spoiled. We had a great run the past few years. Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions had put there feud behind them, and we reaped the benefits. Unfortunately, that ceasefire has expired and we’re see that old habits die hard. Hopefully clearer heads will prevail and these fights can be made.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao
I’ll spare everyone all the bs. It’s all been said by everyone else. These are the two best fighters of our generation. They HAVE to fight. End of story.
Miguel Cotto vs. Shane Mosley
Their first fight was an experience I’ll never forget. The crowd was amazing and if was a close fight. Its a shame a rematch wasn’t made immediately after. Mosley is coming of less than stellar performance. Maybe a fight between the two is exactly what they need to right the ship. For Mosley, it might be his last stand.
Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao
Boxing is built on trilogies and Manny Pacquiao is no stranger to them. His battles with Mexican warriors Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera were some of the most savage wars. With so much controversy in their first two fights, one more fight is necessary to finally settle the score.
Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield
I’m feeling nostalgic. If Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr. can fight a decade too late, why can’t they?
