Mayweather Suspended, Fined $200,000

Today, Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has suspended Roger Mayweather’s license as a trainer for one-year and has slapped him with a $200,000 fine for entering the ring last Saturday night during the 10th round of his nephews fight against Zab Judah. Roger Mayweather’s entrance caused a near riot and this sparked members from both entourages to enter the ring. Police and security officials entered the ring in an attempt to bring calm. Roger Mayweather was ejected from the fight after the incident.

During the post-fight conference, it was announced that the NSAC had put a hold on both fighter’s purses. Today, Mayweather’s purse of $5 Million was released however, Judah’s purse of $250,000 was still on hold pending further review of the tapes.
