Mosley Speaks Out on Baldomir, Mayweather Jr., and More

If you log onto espn.com, ESPN Motion has a small interview with “Sugar” Shane Mosley. Though short, the interview was very interesting, and informed us of some interesting information. Here’s a quick summary:

-He knows that Oscar’s, his business partner, has the ball in his court. He feels that Oscar’s heart is in the ring, and if the opportunity is still there, will fight Mayweather Jr. in the near future.

-He knows that Oscar’s, his business partner, has the ball in his court. He feels that Oscar’s heart is in the ring, and if the opportunity is still there, will fight Mayweather Jr. in the near future.

-After defeating Oscar twice in the past, he tells ESPN that him and Oscar will never fight again. They will instead work together to get new, young, fighters and turn them into world champions.

-He states that he will probably fight Welterweight Champ, and possible Fighter of the Year winner, Carlos Baldomir next! This is very interesting, because it’s goes against our earlier story of a possible Mayweather Jr.-Baldomir fight in November.

-Whether he fights Baldomir or not, he still wants to fight Mayweather Jr. some time next year.

- He calls Mayweather Jr. “immature” because of comments Floyd made earlier, he feels that he is just as fast and strong as Floyd, and that if they did fight, Floyd would figure it out very quickly.

- He feels the same way if De La Hoya fought Floyd as well, he’d put Floyd’s “lights out” as well.
