Manny Pacquiao will become the biggest free agent out in the boxing market after his fight with Erik Morales and word is that Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions is looking to sign him. Oscar was recently in Hollywood at the Wild Card Boxing Club watching Pacquiao training with Freddy Roach for his November 8th bout. Oscar feels that he, the “Golden Boy”, and Pacquiao would be a perfect fit. De La Hoya isn’t the only person with their eyes on Pacquiao, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum is also looking to sign Pacquiao. Oscar should be careful, because it’s only been a week since Juan Diaz turned his back on him, and signed with rival Arum’s Top Rank.

IBF Super Middleweight Champion Joe Calzaghe feels that Jeff Lacy is crazy for considering a rematch with the undefeated English fighter. “I may get arrested for aggravated assault”, Calzaghe states, after thinking about how much pain he would cause Lacy if the two were to touch gloves again. Calzaghe also spoke about how he wants to fight Wright or Tarver, but both are apparently running from him.
Holyfield reminded the world at a press conference promoting his fight with Fres Oquendo that he is not a quitter. Nobody took him serious.
