Oscar should have no problem destroying Mayorga. He honestly hates him and wants to punish him right out of the gate. The only problem for Oscar could be if Mayorga starts fast and wins the first 3 out of 4 rounds and forces Oscar to come out from his original game plan.

Klitschko Scores TKO, Wins IBF/IBO Titles

Wladimir Klitschko (46-3) scored a decisive victory over Chris Byrd (39-3-1) with a TKO in Mannheim, Germany to win the IBF and IBO Heavyweight Title. After being knocked down for the second time, in three rounds, the fight was stopped 41 seconds into the 7th round. This was Klitschko’s second victory over Byrd, the first coming courtesy of a unanimous decision victory back in 2000. This outcome was nothing different.

Alexander "The Pretty-good-so-far" Povetskin

On the Klitschko/Byrd undercard, Alexander Povetkin , the 2004 Olympic Super-heavyweight gold medalist, faced off against Friday "the 13th" Ahunanya . The six-round bout ended in a Povetkin win by unanimous decision, and was quite the exciting match-up. Both fighters went straight at one another and slugged it out. The fight ended with no knockdowns, but it looked as if some were coming, had a longer fight been scheduled.

Exclusive Delay Broadcast

Tonight, Saturday April 15th at 9:30PM ET/PT, HBO will reboradcast last week`s bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Zab Judah.

The fight was heavily promoted albiet Judah`s unexpected loss to unknown Carlos Baldomir. touchgloves.com covered the fight live from ringside last week.

Surpassing Mayweathers first pay-per-view fight against Arturo Gatti last year, this fight generated 350,000 PPV buys producing a cool $15.7 million in revenue. HBO looks forward to other PPV events later this year including a rematch between Sugar Shane Mosely and Ferocious Fernando Vargas slated for July 15th.

Mayweather Suspended, Fined $200,000

Today, Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has suspended Roger Mayweather’s license as a trainer for one-year and has slapped him with a $200,000 fine for entering the ring last Saturday night during the 10th round of his nephews fight against Zab Judah. Roger Mayweather’s entrance caused a near riot and this sparked members from both entourages to enter the ring. Police and security officials entered the ring in an attempt to bring calm. Roger Mayweather was ejected from the fight after the incident.
