- touchgloves.com has exclusive news regarding the future opponent of Floyd Mayweather Jr. Sources close to HBO and Floyd have indicated that a Sept 16th date is being held open for a possible showdown between Pretty Boy Floyd and the Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya. This past week, Mayweather rejected an $8 million dollar fight against Antonio Margarito and also bought out of his current contract with promoter Bob Arum. This seems to pave the wave for a fight with Oscar, just so long as Oscar can get past the wildman Ricardo Mayorga on May 6th. More infomation to follow.

- As first report here at touchgloves.com, the Shane Mosley/ Fernando Vargas rematch is set for July 15th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The fight was orginaly rumored to take place in Los Angeles, but problems arose and the fight was moved to Las Vegas. In their first bout, Mosley scored a TKO victory over Vargas after referee Joe Cortez was forced to call a halt to the bout after a serious bump on causee Fernando`s eye to competely shut. Tickets for this bout are on sale now and can be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com or at the MGM box office.

- Former pound for pound king Roy Jones Jr. will be returning to the ring July 29th to face light heavyweight contender Prince Badi Ajamu. Jones jr, (49-4, 38KO`s) will be looking to revive his career after suffering three straigh losses.
