Rocky Juarez in studio Tonight on ESPN2 "Friday Night Fights"

BLOOMFIELD, NJ (May 25, 2006) – On Friday, May 26, top world contender Ricardo Rocky Juarez will appear in-studio with Brian Kenny on ESPN2’s “Friday Night Fights” broadcast, it was announced today by MAIN EVENTS CEO Kathy Duva. Juarez will discuss his near upset of future Hall of Fame world champion Marco Antonio Barrera on May 20, 2006.

Juarez (25-2-0 18 KO’s) battered Barrera, bruising both of the champ’s eyes and bloodying his nose. The bout was originally ruled a draw, but then overturned to a decision victory for Barrera after it was determined that the scorecard tally sheet was incorrect. The sheet listed Juarez as the winner of round 12 by a score of 10-9, when it was supposed to read an even round of 10-10.
