Mike Tyson returns to the ring in the first of many exhibition fights tonight from the Chevrolet Centre in Youngstown, Ohio. Tyson will take on Cory “T-Rex” Sanders live on pay-per-view at 7:30pm in a four round exhibition fight.
The last time Mike Tyson was in the ring, he suffered a 6th knockout loss to unknown Kevin McBride in June of 2005. Tyson, who has spent more than $500 million worth of money from fighting and endorsements, is looking to put his debts and financial woes behind him with a series of fights under a tour like schedule known as the “Mike Tyson World Tour”. Though he considers himself useless and waste, he still knows that people will come out to see him, mainly because you never know what could happen when Mike Tyson is around.
Tyson is coming to his exhibition fight giving up more than 50 pounds to Corey "T-Rex" Sanders. Sanders, who has officially retired from boxing, was mainly a jobber in the heavyweight decision. He does pack some punch though, knocking out current WBC Heavyweight Champion Oleg Maskaev back in 2002.
Don’t forget to call tune in tonight to see Tyson versus Sanders live from Ohio. Check with your local pay-per-view provider to ask about tonight’s exhibition match.
