Hatton And Urango Tonight!!

Ricky Hatton looks to reclaim the title he gave up last year when he takes on Juan Urango for the IBO Light Welterweight Title. Hatton earned “2005 Fighter of the Year” when he won the IBO title back in 2005 with a convincing knockout victory over Kostya Tszyu. He would drop it in 2006 to fight Welterweight champ Luis Collazo. Along the way, Urango came along and defeated Naoufel Ben Rabah to win the vacant title. With the return of Luis Castillo on the under card tonight’s boxing card on HBO should start 2007 off with a bang.

Heavyweight Division Would Clear Up If I Was In Charge!

As most boxing fans know, the heavyweight division is the most incomplete division in boxing. All other divisions have a clear champion, whose faces represent their respective weight classes. O’Neil Bell represents the Cruiserweights, Joe Calzaghe the Super Middleweights, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. the Welterweight division, and so on. Last year we saw four different heavyweight hold four first different belts, and surprisingly, it ended the same way. Though new champions were crowned, a unified championship bout was never made. Luckily, this year, with my help, boxing fans will soon find out who the true face of the heavyweight division is.
