Colombian bomber Joel Julio (29-1) returns to the ring on March 30 when he battles Thomas Davis (11-3-2) in a 10 round bout on ESPN2’s “Friday Night Fights”. Julio has won his last two bouts and is ranked #4 by the WBA and IBF, and #7 by the WBC.
Once considered boxing hottest prospect, Julio suffered his first pro defeat last summer at the hands of Puerto Rican Carlos Quintana. At the young of age 22, Joel still has a bright future ahead of him.
