Victor Burgoes undergoes Brain Surgery

Mexican fighter Victor Burgos underwent emergency surgery last night after his brutal bout with Armenian Champion Vic Darchinyan. Burgos, who took a massive amount of punishment, was taken away from the ring by stretcher and was rushed from the Home Depot Center directly to Harbor- UCLA medical center where doctors performed surgery on him to remove a blood clot and reduce brain swelling. He is currently in a medically induced comma which will help reduce the swelling. Doctors are optimistic as they are already seeing improvements in his condition. Our thoughts and prayers are with Victor and his entire family and wish him a speedy recovery.
