"Mean" Joe Greene signs with Seminole Warriors Boxing!

Seminole Warriors Boxing announced that is has signed unbeaten middleweight "Mean" Joe Greene to a promotional contract.

HOLLYWOOD, FL, April 17 – Ask your average sports fan about "Mean" Joe Greene, and they'll tell you all about the Hall of Fame defensive tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers. But ask a boxing fan who "Mean" Joe Greene is, and you'll most likely hear about the unbeaten middleweight sensation who has taken the New York scene by storm and is now ready to take on the world.

To speed that process along, Seminole Warriors Boxing is pleased to announce the signing of Joe Greene to a promotional contract.

Joe Greene said "I am excited about signing with Seminole Warriors Boxing since it will allow me to start competing against the best middleweights in the world."

"We're thrilled to have Joe Greene on the Seminole Warriors Boxing team, and we believe he's the future of this division," said Leon Margules, Executive Director of Seminole Warriors Boxing. "If you haven't seen Joe fight yet, you're in for a treat because he has all the tools to be a champion, including knockout power in either hand. Fight fans will definitely be seeing plenty of this young man in the coming months and years."

A southpaw banger and one of the most decorated amateurs to come out of New York City in recent years, "Mean" Joe Greene is a two-time New York and 2004 National Golden Gloves champion with a reported 180 amateur wins to his credit. His success has continued in the pro ranks, as the hard-hitter from Jamaica, Queens has put together a stellar record of 14 wins and no losses with 11 knockouts while tearing through his opposition like a hot knife through butter. Currently on a four-fight knockout streak, the 21-year old Greene most recently took out 42-fight veteran Pat Coleman in the first round on February 22nd.

Greene's debut under the Seminole Warriors Boxing banner will be announced shortly.
