The Ricky Hatton vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight generated over 850,000 buys in the US and an estimated over 1 million buys in the UK. Althought the numbers are not exact, some estimated have the number as high as 1.4 million in the UK. This would make the fight the 2nd biggest fight in Pay Per view history, following Mayweather vs. De La Hoya.
