January 7th, 2008 - This Friday, January 11, the authentic Mexican cerveza Tecate presents the latest "Solo Boxeo Tecate" bout, set to take place at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Cabazon, Calif. This will mark the first Tecate and Golden Boy Promotions boxing event of the year.
Headlining this outstanding bout is Season Ones' "Contender" winner, Sergio Mora (19-0-1, 4 KO's) and 2004 U.S. Olympian Vicente Escobedo (15-1, 11KO’s), who will present their talent in separate matches. Mora will be facing Rito Ruvalcaba (31-8, 27 KO's) in a 10-round middleweight match, while Escobedo will battle Puerto Rican Angel Chacon (30-8-2, 15 KO’s) in what promises to be an exciting meet.
