Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik earned his second consecutive victory over Jermain “Bad Intentions” Taylor via unanimous decision Saturday night. Pavlik (33-0, 29 KO’s) controlled the fight with his jab all night. Taylor (27-2-1), who seemed hesitant at time, threw his punches sparingly rather consistently for the full twelve rounds. The judges scored the fight 117-111, 116-112, and 115-113 all for Pavlik. Touchgloves.com had it 116-112 for Pavlik.
Pavlik is rumored to make his first defense of his Middleweight titles in June against Tito Trinidad. Taylor will look to rebound and start fresh as a Super Middleweight contender.
