Speaking of Castillo, a fight with Miguel Cotto could also be in line for early next year. There have been rumors that a Cotto-Castillo was in the works and was to occur November 11th if Castillo would have defeated Diego Corrales. Look for Cotto to move up in weight to 147.

Oscar De La Hoya has finally made a decision about his future in boxing. He is looking to fight one of two fighters next year; Felix Trinidad or Floyd Mayweather Jr. Rumor is that Trinidad has been recently been training and could come out retirement again. De La Hoya hopes to seek revenge for his 1999 screw-job. A Mayweather-De La Hoya is the biggest possible fight out there right now and is the wish list of many boxing fans.

Evander Holyfield will take on Fres Oquendo in November. Location has yet to be named. Oquendo was once a quality Heavyweight Contender, who can be a good test for Holyfield.

Jermain Taylor vs. Kassim Ouma is all but announced. It was confirmed by Friday Night Fight analyst Teddy Atlas. Look for Taylor to defend his World Middleweight Title in December.
