Ronald “Winky” Wright (50-3-0) takes on Jermain Taylor (25-0) live this Saturday from Memphis, Tennessee. The WBC and WBO Middleweight titles will be on the line for both fighters to grab live on HBO.

Wright, who is considered by some the best pound-for-pound fighter, behind Floyd Mayweather, looks to continue his impressive 21st century record and add Taylor to an impressive list of fighters he has recently defeated. Momentum should clearly be on Wright’s side after victories over Felix Trinidad and previous back-to-back victories over Shane Mosley.

Taylor should in no way be looked at as a pushover. He successfully accomplished what many thought would be impossible; scoring back-to-back victories over former Middleweight King Bernard Hopkins in 2005. Along with confidence, he brings one of the greatest managers in boxing to his side, Emmanuelle Stewart. Stewart helped Wladimir Klitschko turn his career around and recently became the King of the Heavyweight Division.

Wright shouldn’t allow outside influences effect his performance. He turned his back against his promoter Gary Shaw earlier this year and has received harsh criticism throughout the boxing world.

Don’t forget to tune at 9:30pm ET live on HBO.
